Short Version:
Arena Net nerfed Sliver Armor! Tossers!

Long Version:
When playing a MMO, at one point or another it comes in handy if you know how to farm (like money, items, titles etc.).

As you might know, I play Guild Wars for quite a while now (I should have had my 4th birthday  but I wanna open my presents together with my boyfriend. No, that is not weird!! ;-) ). And yes, I do some farming every now and then. Best opportunity to farm certain stuff are special events which are held at certain holidays. Like Halloween, Easter, Chinese New Year, Talk Like A Pirate Day (!!) and at the moment Thanksgiving.

During such events the monsters you slay drop special items which drop only then and at no other time in the year. At Thanksgiving monsters drop Hard Apple Cider and Slices of Pumpking Pie. Sweet! ;D
The fastest and most effective way to do this is the so called "Raptor Farming". There is a cave in the game with a big-ass dinosaur boss and its nestlings, lots of them.
I play a necromancer ingame and it was said "No, necromancers can't farm the raptors". Well, after a long research I found a build and boy, did I farm them. ;D The build was not 100% perfect and it worked like 4 out of 6 times, or something like that. Still, it was fast and effective and during events I got lots of stuff for myself.
So, I wanted to do some raptor farming last night. I put on my skills and my farming equipment (me= nerd :D ) and went out to slay some little dinosaurs. But I failed. Ok, this happened before. I try again. And again. And again. After the 7th or 8th attempt I begin to realise that something is wrong. ^^ I looked at certain websites and eventually find out that one skill was tempered with by the game developpers. Unfortunatly, it was the most important skill for this farming method. Now the raptors die not fast enough. And the skill Sliver (not Silver) Armor is pretty much useless, not only for farming purposes but in the entire game.

There is supposed to be another way to farm the raptors for me but it will take some time to adjust to it.


PS: Sliver Armor was nerfed in May...but I found out last night. See, I am not a power farmer! (and at least my 55hp Farm build still works perfectly, but I can't farm raptors with it...)

Today I found the little protective cap of my USB stick for which I was looking for ages. I actually thought I had lost it.
So, I wanted to put it back on my USB stick.

The thing is: 
I can't find the USB stick. xD
I still had it 1,5 weeks ago but now it seems to have dissapeared. Cruel world. *shrug* ^^

Ok, this is not really a surprise...but still.

Fox has cancelled "Running Wilde" (which probably no one knows except for danza1806  and myself lol).

"Running Wilde" is a comedy series starring Will Arnett and was created by Will Arnett and Mitch Hurwitz (the GENIUS behind Arrested Development). To be honest, it wasn't the greatest show ever. Still, it was fun to watch and I would have loved to see more. The show had a lot of potential (with people like Arnett and Hurwitz)- it just didn't use it (yet).

Now I hope Fox has the decency to show the rest of the 13 episodes. But with Fox you'll never know...

I watched all 4 episodes so far and he is as funny as I remember him. :) And Andy Richter is back with him, too. :)
Jeez, i remember seing them back in 1994 or 1995 when my English was pretty much crap. I didn't understand much but I loved Conan's laugh. Thank god this one didn't change. :D
I am probably not going to follow his show religiously (due to the lack of time) but I am sure I will watch it whenever I can.
